Postponed until further notice. Date TBD.
Kids and teens get hands on in a professional jewelry studio while learning the basics of metal working. Under the guidance of a professional jewelry artist, students will learn sawing, filing, hammering, texturing, forming and soldering in copper and brass (silver available for purchase). Students will design and create earrings and cuff bracelets ready to wear or gift.
The Creative Side family is excited and honored to open up this world of jewelry making and these ancient techniques to your budding artisan. The gratification the students receive after creating their own design from start to finish is irreplaceable.
Camps are open to ages 10-16. Metalsmithing and jewelry crafting takes a certain set of skills, level of maturity, and ability to focus and take instruction well.
