Forging Jewelry with Jurgen Maerz
Saturday, May 5-6, 9am-5pm
Hammer out a beautiful ring and pair of earrings in copper or silver. This class teaches the fundamentals of forging and how to “move” metal and form it into the desired shape using a hammer. You will leave with a better understanding of metal and how it works and moves and when it is in a malleable or hardened state. Students can customize the assigned design as long as parameters are met. ★★ Some Experience Necessary!
