Surface Embellishments with April Wood
Saturday + Sunday, August 4 + 5, 10-6pm
In this class learn how to make your piece of jewelry more interesting by manipulating the surface of the metal. Learn hands on while creating a pendant or earrings using a range of surface embellishment techniques. Techniques include reticulation on 80/20 reticulation silver, simple chasing repousse techniques and solder inlay methods. Patinas of reds, speckled rust, blue greens, and liver of sulfur for depth, will also be covered in this course.
