Riveting Jewelry with Rita Marie Ross

Explore the power of the rivet in this cold connection workshop. This simple technique can be used to make jewelry with elevated areas, moving parts or multi-layered work, without the use of a torch. Learn to perfect the tube rivet while creating interesting and unique jewelry. Students are welcome to bring in other materials such as watch parts, vintage pieces, broken jewelry, etc to incorporate into their projects. We will be working with small parts so bring your magnification or optivisors.
