Introduction to the Torch & Bezel Setting with Steve Kriechbaum

Saturday + Sunday, June 16 + 17, 10-6pm

Extinguish your fear of the flame and become confident and proficient with elemental torch work. Soldering 101 will introduce the jeweler’s torch and provide experience in soldering and appliqué.  The course will also cover sweat and pick soldering, along with other techniques for joining silver, copper and brass.  Learn the basics of  bezel setting stones. Learn the basic skill set needed to fabricate beautiful and unique jewelry pieces. Learn how to set up your own simple soldering bench at home with minimal tools and equipment.  This class is essential to any beginning jeweler!
