Learn how to create simple bezels, which are a beautiful and versatile way to set smooth top stones of all shapes and sizes. A bezel is a thin strip of metal that is shaped and formed around a stone to encapsulate and secure it. This is an ideal, early technique to learn if you are interested in the fabulous world of silversmithing and gem stone setting. Techniques in this class include sawing, simple forming, soldering and setting. This is a fun easy technique which is perfect for beginners. Materials will be included with the class complete with stones, or bring your own stones to set.
