Caterina got her start in Mexico when she discovered the beautiful wire jewelry there. Over the next few years she made jewelry to finance her journey through Central and South America, exploring the region extensively and getting to know the various cultures. She particularly found a lot of inspiration in Guatemalan and Peruvian jewelry, whose techniques you can see influencing her own work. A few years ago she came across multi-gem wire wrapped pendants and a new passion for wire was sparked within her and has since been combining the many techniques acquired during her travels, instilling in her jewelry something very unique. She has now been working with wire and creating jewelry for 8 years.
